Atari, as the company, was present at last Gamescom that took place in August in Cologne, Germany. The CEO Wade Rosen shared his thoughts on Ataris latest developments and future in several interviews:

After many disappointing brand owners in the past, one can say, the current one has some respect for the history, interesting ideas, taste and even community interest, as the acquisition of AtariAge a while ago indicates. And well, we got BBQ sauce!

I started my digital life with an Atari 400 when I was just a little boy sand I suffered through the final days of the Atari until the Jaguar era, since then I silently wished the Atari name would one day rise again with an eye to their retro past while offering new original hardware/software that stands on it's own.  This new Atari is the Atari I always wanted.

Indeed the current ATARI owners seem to care a lot more than any other before, well at least speaking about the post 90s era. Good news for the brand and its lovers.

Wade Rosen was in Sweden earlier this year and visited "Embracer Games Archive" ... there was some talk about it in a swedish Atari discord and Wade got a lesson in Atari ST history since he had very little ST knowledge :) He were very interested in Sega Saturn and Wonderswan when at the EGA.
I guess his visit in sweden continued to Thunderful since Atari bought that game company later on.
