mOdmate's ebook "Graph2Font - A Graphician’s Guide" is out now
In the past few years, mOdmate had been working on a guide for Graph2Font, a tool for Atari 8-bit graphics that uses special tricks to display far more colours than would normally seem possible. Sadly, he didn't have time to finish it, but he passed the baton to Exocet a few weeks before he left us. The work has now been brought to completion and the resulting PDF is available for download.

The Atari 8-bit computers were very special to mOdmate, being his first contact with home computing, and he clearly poured his heart into this guide. Hopefully it will encourage more pixel artists to get involved with that fascinating platform.
Tbh I was thinking of him and the other friends we have lost in 2025 and what a legacy he has brought us for Xmas! Glad to see that his work will live on, whathever the form it takes.
I got an unfinished copy from him as well long before he passed away, with a wish not too share it. But good to see it published even if it's unfinished. It's a good ebook to read and helps a lot if you are interested in gfx for the A8.

And of course respect to the old boy himself, m0dmate.
