One of the more recent handbooks (as far as the ST/E/TT/Falcon's commerical lifetime is concerned), it has a wealth of information about the system for programmers.ย

As shown in the cover picture, it is split into chapters that cover all the subsystems like BIOS, XBIOS, GEMDOS, AES, VDI, etc., even covering early MiNT and MultiTOS versions.

The appendices also contain a massive amount of data, especially all the system calls, which are always handy to have when writing applications that use the system.

An absolute must for Atari programmers!

The Compendium is a bible, but contains errors and is clearly outdated.

Also, there's a HYP version (with some fixes) available, too:ย https://tho-otto.de/hypview/hypview.cgi?url=%2Fhyp%2Fcompend.hyp

Yes we did the HYP version in the past. Maybe you know that we got really strict mail from Scott Sanders who prohibit us sharing even binary patch to CD image. That is the reason why we ask Lonny to remove the HYP from the dev-docs server. I am still afraid of public presence of the HYP file. Maybe we should try to find and contact Scott and ask him again. I am really sad we canโ€™t share it officially.
And BTW I still have the STG sources, so it is not a problem to fix the errors.
