The traditional Outline demoparty has now put information online for the 2025 edition. A website to feel home at immediately.

The party is taking place from 29th of May till 1st of June 2025. It is said the the event is leaning a bit more towards a "back to the roots" oldschool kind of party. If you like, get your travel planning and Atari releases ready!

After a way too long time of Outline abstinence I am considering going to enjoy the well remembered spring experience.
But actually, I wonder if any other Atari people are planning to go?

A long weekend, this is now the kind of opportunity that we seize to visit some friends with my wife, so that's a no for me.

Hopefully Grazey & some of the guys will still go, but you'll need to check. Neither myself nor CiH will be there this time, sadly.

Hmm, ok, thank you, good to know.
Grazey mentioned he may pass by rather for a few hours.
So I better keep an eye on the visitor list on the outline page and decide later.

I am 50/50 at the moment but am interested in going this year.ย  Havoc is back in the driving seat too! :)

Tronic, thats good to hear!
A long weekend would also also be an opportunity to continue our common efforts to get that 16x16 square moving on screen, even with a chance of understanding what we are doing! :)

Outline hasn't been an Atari part for quite some time for me. :-(

Maybe next year. It would be fun to experience that craziness again.

Indeed. I haven't been there for 10 years, but each spring time I miss it in a way! Back then Atari still played a bigger role there (judging the pics from more recent editions, there were certainly more water guns or DJ setups than Ataris on site).
I just wished, with Havoc back in the center and perspectively a few Atarians invading the place, we may bend the event "back into /|\ shape" some day
PS: today I heard of one more Atari person who possibly makes it at least part-time to the party.

It's sad, but I've decided to no longer participate in oldschool graphics competitions that don't prohibit the use of AI.
In the rules of the Outline, nothing forbids it. It's even considered normal in the rules of the modern graphics competition.
So it'll be without me...

Oh yes!ย  I might even be able to explain pre-shifting to you :). Let me know if you're definitely going and I will see what I can do.

Pandafox:ย
Maybe Revision compo is for you then. They state a "No AI generated or inspired graphics entries." policy on their compo rules website.

Tronic:
Preshifting! That would be reaching for the stars! :)
