09:52, Netherlands (Tronic)
The Brits heading out to Steenwijk, but first a hearty breakfast.

10:40, Outline (505):
This is the right time to get up, grab a coffee and see whats going on.

13:28, Netherlands (Tinker):
Leaving!

16:55, Netherlands (gwEm):

editors note: I think the UK guys are just re-posting cycling pics from yesterday to show off, while actually doing this...

18:07, Outline (505):
The lack of updates can only mean one thing: good times!

The party is running smoothly, we had all the usual bits, breakfast, coffee, computing and chatting. Beetle is here with some new interesting projects and his self-built 3D printer. Always good to see this man with his ambitious and professionally executed hardware projects.

We enjoyed the music compo this afternoon, about a dozen of entries, some of them very good. One track was particularly interesting as it was created with Oscilators and sounding gooood.

There have also been at least 3 Atari entries, maxYMiser mostly. Dma-Sc re-invented the digidrum on YM by designing an amazing sample-sounding-like clap instrument. Aki entered a clean and driving maxYMiser track, too, as she states to acknowlede Outline's Atari roots a bit. There has been a small hick up with that one as it was played from about the middle of the track. But it was replayed once more later, so everyone could enjoy it in full length.

(As a little side remark: There is this little maxYMiser feature of saving the currently worked on position in the track. So once you load it, it will be at that position by default. So you have to rewind to the start or play from start (right mouselclick on play song) - so this probably explains this miracle).

I also tried to finish a chip track for STE at the party. Due to surrounding music I moved to the bedroom to work on it and missed the deadline and as a consequence. But as we are as friendly Outline, I was allowed to enter my entry last minute. Thanks for that Harekiet and Havoc!

Good to see Tinker again after many, many years at the party place. He really is this tall.

We are reaching the evening hours and just before dinner, Dma-Sc has set up his liveset, combining an STE with Polyend tracker, using the midi control features. Very nice tunage emitted from the audio system.

Three Atari musicians from different countries, but all having common Protracker STE roots. Atariscene is the true EU.

20:38, Outline (505)

Asian food served for dinner was tasty. As weather is with us today, many were using the benches outside for having food and long talks. Recent tools and Atari previews have been shared. This is also where I met an original Atari Transputer Workstation user ever: Xyzzy. I pointed him to the recent developments.

Photos and graphics compos are running as I write. Very remarkable, two great Atari 16 color graphics entries, one by Aki and one by Suule (steps shown below).

Note the bottom left, Gasman updating Demozoo live during the compo :)

Next on the agenda: a DJ set by Numtek and the wild compos later on.

22:47, Outline (505):

Wild compo was very nice, strong entries, and the party is running well, just have a look...

To the joy of the audience a Havoc just announced a final event today: coming up, Gasman live!

So far, over and out from Outline 2025.
